    Verdict

No surprise to see a couple of David Evans runners in this as the yard has won the last two renewals. ELOQUENT STAR has a good chance of winning this year's running too as he should improve on his debut fourth at Yarmouth and makes more appeal than stablemate and newcomer Studfarmer. Hard to tell what went wrong with Golac at Brighton last week but he makes a quick reappearance anyway and has claims on his earlier placed efforts though Captain Blue is harder to fancy as he was also well beaten in the same race at Brighton on his debut. Silicon Valley has some improving to do and Symphony Of Dreams makes no appeal on breeding.

Captain Blue 14-1 (8-10) Started very slowly, well behind, stayed towards far side in straight, well beaten when hung right towards main group over 1f out, 6th of 7, 23l behind Heavy Metal (9-3) at Brighton 5f 2yo mdn (5) gs.

Golac 7-2 (9-3) Chased winner until ridden halfway, soon weakened and behind, virtually pulled up over 1f out, tailed off, last of 7, well behind Heavy Metal (9-3) at Brighton 5f 2yo mdn (5) gs.

Studfarmer Multiplex colt out of Samadilla.

Silicon Valley 33-1 (8-6) Slowly into stride and went right start, never on terms, 5th of 7, 7l behind Severn Bore (8-9) at Warwick 5f 2yo sll (6) gs in Apr.

Symphony Of Dreams Primo Valentino filly out of Flying Lion.
