In depth
Verdict
Michele Strogoff has been struggling from this sort of mark all season and her last three victories have been at Wolverhampton. Nonios, 6-30 on the all-weather, is still a maiden after nine starts on Turf though has been running in better company while Time Change, a fast-ground specialist, returned to form with a narrow defeat at Salisbury. MUBARIZ ended his first campaign with a victory at Nottingham and, after a poor run on soft ground at Sandown, did better at Haydock despite losing a shoe - he can return to winning ways. Uther Pendagon's victory here in May was at a much lower level.
