In depth
Verdict
Papality should be capable of finally landing a maiden although Almanshood is offered due respect. Willie Jarvis' filly has ran in some fair maidens in the past without success but this does not look to have too much strength in depth and she should have too much class for this bunch. Almanshood would be better off if this were a handicap. He was behind Papality on their Leicester meeting, and even the application of blinkers rather than a visor should not be enough to reverse form. The long gap since June should go some way to explaining Cape Enterprise's poor effort at Redcar. He is watched in the market. A comment that equally applies to Blaenavon. Her family include such performers as One So Wonderful and it would not be a huge surprise if David Arbuthnot had her cherry ripe today. Grande Roche looks an expensive mistake for someone at the sales. Papality is selected although Blaenavon is watched accordingly.
