Verdict
Dagola, Stevedore and Hana Dee are all capable of taking an event like this, and we will give the vote to the first named. Clive Cox's gelding lost his way a little after winning at Nottingham back in April, but now appears back to his best. He produced a brave performance when making Silverhay pull out all the stops at Pontefract last week and he looks set to go one better. Hana Dee finished over three lengths behind the selection in that contest, but was slowly away, if she gets away on terms today she will be a major threat. Stevedore bounced back to winning ways at Leicester last time beating Blue Java in comfortable fashion and should go well despite top-weight. Of the remainder Amber Fox gets in here off a very low mark and may run into a place at a decent price, but Dagola is the one that just edges the decision.
