Verdict
David Evans is double handed here with Backeshall Hope and Diamond Josh, Keiren Fallon is aboard the latter and this one gets the decision, with Sapphire Princess put forward as a major threat. Diamond Josh showed plenty of promise on his debut in what looked a decent maiden at Windsor. The first two, Marajuana and Marching Song pulled clear, but the selection was stayed on well to take third and should improve for the outing. Blakeshall Hope has shown ability in three maidens to date, he drops into selling company for the first time and looks set to play a major role. Sapphire Princess landed a Lingfield seller last time, but had also shown plenty of ability on the turf so must be respected. As with most of these type of events the betting will prove invaluable, but without that knowledge we will side with Diamond Josh.
