    Verdict

Rated 78, Blue Suede has obvious claims in this company but that was also the case when failing to land the odds here a week ago. She was beaten only a short-head but it could still pay to take her on with the newcomer KIRIBATI. The son of Poet's Voice has plenty of speed in his pedigree and it would be no surprise if Mark Johnston’s colt proved good enough given the remainder make little appeal with Fethiye Boy preferred to stablemate Viola Park.

Viola Park 66-1 (9-5) Went left start, led, headed over 2f out, soon weakened, 11th of 12, 25 1/2l behind Accidental Agent (9-5) at Chepstow 7f mdn stks (4) gd in Jul.

Blue Suede (IRE) 4-11fav (9-0) Steadied start, took keen hold and soon chasing winner, ridden to challenge over 1f out, soon edged right, stayed on well in closing stages, strong challenge close home, just held, 2nd of 5, hd behind Secret Potion (9-5) at Bath 5f mdn stks (5) gs in Aug.
