Verdict

Concertmaster can put his experience to good use here and is selected ahead of Ben and Just A Dancer. Concertmaster ran in the first juvenile race of the season, finishing second to Dubai Princess. It is difficult to assess the form but the winning trainer was quoted as saying his charge was quite smart and so with that in mind it could have been an excellent start for Ralph Becket's charge. Ben also showed plenty of promise in that contest, finishing a close up fourth. Obviously connections think they can overturn the form and so he has to rate a big danger. Just A Dancer, a well bred daughter of the speedy Choisir should be watched closely in the betting, along with Mick Channon's debutante Alfredtheordinary, however Concertmaster has the form in the bag and he gets our vote.
