In depth

Verdict

King's Masque has won three of his last four but this is a huge rise in class and he's probably better on quicker ground. Jawhar is also at the top of his game and chasing a four-timer after wins at Yarmouth, York and Newbury. He's got to defy yet another career-high mark here, however, and is another tackling better company. The three-year-olds Commend and Clare Island Boy can't be ignored with the former going off favourite at Chester last month. Shavansky won at Kempton last month while Cool Macavity could be well handicapped and Splendid Light is very lightly raced, though has only won on Polytrack so far. LITTLE ROCKY likes soft ground and, though slightly disappointing at Pontefract last month, should strip fitter here and can bounce back to winning ways.
