Verdict

Motamayiz has won twice here over a mile but he doesn’t look an easy ride and this is quite competitive. Willy Nilly is worth another try over the trip having won a couple of lesser contests recently over a mile. Billhillyseems best over 1m4f on the all-weather while Rotherwick always seems to find at least one too good but Water's Edge arrives off the back of a victory at Windsor and Uther Pendragon won over course and distance in June and recent placed efforts here and at Goodwood suggest he’s still on a fair mark. SUN TIDE (NAP) is a half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Midday and a host of other smart performers. She began to fulfil her potential at Chepstow last time and she is going to relish the extra here – an opening mark of 72 could prove to be very lenient.
