In depth

Verdict

Rosa Gold steps up in grade again bidding for the four-timer and she’s gone up another 10lb. Bright Eyed Eagle appears to have gone off the boil but returning to a longer trip should aid his cause. Giving Glances will have needed her run at Salisbury but a return to hurdling probably beckons for Alan King’s mare. SINGING THE BLUES has been racing over further but won over track and trip in July, his third course victory. Soft going was probably to blame for a below-par showing last time at Goodwood. Prince Imperial has shown little this year and has switched stables so is best watched.
