      Verdict

      Pomfret Lad is suited by the conditions of the race and showed he is in good form when chasing home a well-treated type in a Newbury handicap last time. Fromsong was disappointing last time and has to shoulder top weight but will relish the conditions and shouldn't be discounted while both Bali Royal and Bandanna are capable of going close at this level.
