In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Bold Cheverak,Tribute and Snow Wolf and the narrow vote is given to Bold Cheverak. The selection won well last time out when beating Campeon and although he has a penalty for that win he won with a little in hand and is taken to win again from what looks a good draw. Tribute rates the main danger as he was a fair fourth last time out behind Compton Plume. However his best form of late has been over a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Snow Wolf is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Yorkshire Blue but the draw could have been kinder to him and he need everything to fall right for him if he is to score. Talcen Gwyn is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks handicapped to the hilt while Gracie's Gift could go well at a price if there is a lot of rain but in a tough race to call for the winner we return to Bold Cheverak.
