Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Wild Desert and Kashgar probably have too much weight now and BRIDGEHAMPTON is also creeping up the handicap, though is less exposed and with Willie Twiston-Davies taking off 3lb could go very close. With Dambuster a likely non-runner, Royal Signaller is the only three-year-old and he certainly has a chance on his best form but the longer trip may be too much for Kittens while Chapter Five and Hurakan, first and second over course and distance last month, are taking on better opposition now though the former has won again since. Ethics Girl and Abundantly are arguably the pick of the weights and both have plenty of stamina but neither has been in the best of form this season. The market will probably be a guide as to what's expected today.
