In depth

Verdict

Dontforgettocall finished a modest third on his debut at Windsor during the week but that still looks the best form of those with racecourse experience. Mick Channon has won two of the five previous renewals so Billy's Boots is a worth second glance in the betting along with Kreb's Cycle. Warleggan is a half-brother to several winners in France and another newcomer to note but ASFAAR gets a speculative vote to make a winning start. A half-sister to winning stablemate Tawdheef, Paul Hanagan's only ride on the card could prove a winning one.
