Verdict
Interesting to see STAR ALEXANDER (NAP) backed into strong favouritism on debut at Ascot but she seemed to take a while to get organised before coming home in third spot beaten just over 5l. The Starspangledbanner filly had clearly been showing plenty at home and is expected to go close now for the Cox and Kirby combination with the benefit of that initial outing to call upon. Daddies Diva is being kept busy and continues to perform with credit and her experience should see her involved once again, whilst Divine Covey ran in a better race on debut at Sandown when will supported and will come on for the run. Sabaaya is an interesting newcomer.
