In depth

Verdict

The consistent HANDYTALK makes a swift return to action after staying on well to claim an apprentice handicap four days ago. A course and distance winner, he handles forecast conditions and Georgia Dobie, creating a good impression with nine winners this year, takes off a useful 7lb. Gottardo has gone well on both starts for Sophie Smith since joining the Ed Dunlop team from the Stack operation in Ireland and should be in the shake-up whilst Peace Dreamer cannot be ruled out with Hayley Turner booked despite being asked to concede weight all round after a close runner-up effort here last time. Grey Galleon has a form claim but is unproven on soft ground.
