    In depth

    Verdict

Hope Is High won the inaugural running of this series final last year and is back on a winning mark though is not in particularly good form. Croquembouche has struggled since winning over 1m5f here in June when beating HIGH WELLS less than a length but the latter has held his form well. Seamus Durack’s charge has won a qualifying race over track and trip subsequently with Glens Wobbly well beaten and should be sharp enough today having had a spin over hurdles since. Xinbama finished in front of Hallingham when runner-up here more recently while Cry Wolf landed a double at Chelmsford with a victory over today’s trip and is preferred to Becca Campbell and Innoko.
