Verdict
WEDGEWOOD has returned to action an improved filly and landed a hat-trick at Wolverhampton with last week’s easy win. She can defy a penalty if proving as effective back on Turf. The remainder have yet to win and Smasher looks no nearer doing so having been well beaten when third at Chelmsford though Pearly Gaits went close at Windsor earlier. Cluedo may prove a bigger danger handicapping for the first time on her reappearance.
