William Haggas has won the last two of these and LA YAKEL, who completed a double when landing an Ascot heritage handicap, may have found the ground a bit quick when fourth in a similar race at Newmarket. He looks best of the stable's pair and is taken to make a successful reappearance though Sam Cooke, who has won twice around here, ended the last campaign with a double in handicaps at Newmarket and Newbury. White Wolf returns from Meydan where he found Group 2 company beyond him in his last start while Crystal Delight has gone up 3lb for finishing second at Newmarket. Real Dream is a typical slow-burner from his yard having comfortably landed a Kempton handicap on just his fourth start so better is expected. Selwan has arrived from France but could do with some rain to ease the ground.
