Verdict

MABUYA is taken to win on his handicap debut with both Dice and Perception worth noting in the betting market. The selection showed plenty of promise on his seasonal reappearance at Goodwood finishing second to Sir Isaac. He steps up three furlongs in trip which ought to suit and with a handicap mark of 74 he looks sure to have his supporters. Dice will pose as the biggest danger running off a four pound lower mark on his handicap debut. He finished an eye catching second to Shabib at Folkestone on his come back run and is another that warrants plenty of respect. Perception ran three fair races as a two year old last year and looked to improve on each outing. His trainer is more than capable of getting his horses ready first time out but he is sure to benefit for this outing. A competitive handicap in which we return to Mabuya as the likely winner.
