The going could play it's part in today's feature event but Night Carnation had today's rival Beyond Desire behind when landing a Group 3 sprint at Sandown in July, though the latter reversed running when fourth at Newbury later in the year. Both would prefer faster ground, however, and CALEDONIA LADY could take advantage. There was cut in the ground when she won a Listed event at Ascot in September and Jo Hughes' three-year-old has conditions in her favour on her return. Perfect Tribute and Astrophysical Jet have a bit to find with the principals on last year's form and, though she'll act on the surface, Sioux Rising may find today's trip on the short side.
