Verdict
Miss Firefly is a victim of her own consistency as the assessor can't really drop her in the ratings despite the fact she's won twice in 55 starts. Avonlini is in a similar position as she is now on her highest ever mark after her two recent fine efforts and she's only won once in 25 runs. What Katie Did hasn't won for over two years but has dropped to such a lowly mark that she has done better in her most recent starts at Brighton and is on the short-list for this. MY METEOR is on the upgrade and hasn't had much racing. His two runs here this month against Jolly Ranch, who runs earlier, suggest he's capable of completing a double despite a penalty and he looks the one to be on.
