Verdict
PAYDAAR is the selection to see off Breakheart and Liberty Square. Though he was unable to put a win together in Ireland, the colt looks to have been found a weak maiden to aim at and with Brian Meehan's team in good form; he holds plenty of positives. Breakheart is a half-brother to Dark Missile. Whether fast ground suits is something of an imponderable on the dam's side but from a useful family, he cannot be discounted. Liberty Square does not look to be at the top end of the Godolphin juvenile team and that tag of US$ 280,000 is starting to look a tad expensive. First In The Queue failed to build upon the promise of his run in a Chepstow maiden though at 76 is one of the better horses in the field according to BHA figures. Rasmy should come on for plenty for his debut at Newbury and this is effectively a drop in class. Tayacoba is bred to be better over further and has already had the unkindest cut of all. Moonbalej looks the sort who could make his mark once handicapped. Calypso Star needed his first run for four months and seems best of the rest on what we have seen. Paydaar is the pick.
