Verdict

This looks the stronger division of the two and FINE SIGHT sets a fair marker with Youm Jamil and Database worthy of inclusion upon any shortlist. The Cape Cross colt was guilty only of finding the well regarded Mont Agel too good at Windsor and while second on the day, he did at least stick to the task once headed by a superior rival. Youm Jamil ran a real eyecatcher on debut. Fast ground seems to suit sons of Mizzen Mast so it will be no surprise to see improvement. Database proved easy to back on introduction at Newbury. With Godolphin is such form; that was a surprise though it would not be the biggest of surprises were there plenty of improvement beyond that initial effort. Istidlaal is a half-brother to Soapy Danger so we will be looking more towards next year rather than this race to see him at his best. Whistleinthewind is a half-brother to Sunrise Safari so could be anything. Jazz Age is ideally bred for this trip though worryingly is in first time headgear. Spa's Dancer is stepped up in trip having struggled to see out seven furlongs in the past. Fine Sight is the selection in a race likely to throw up plenty of winners.
