Verdict
Just eight runners but a case can be made for most of them and we will side with Brazilian Terrace, but Bishopstone Man, Marnie and Voice Mail have to be feared. Michael Bell's four-year-old has hit a rich vein of form with victories at Nottingham and here at Bath. She just got the better of today's rival Marnie last time and at the weights the runner up is entitled to reverse the form, however the selection is a very difficult horse to pass and with further improvement expected she can go in again. Bishopstone Man is used to give experience to young apprentices but does have plenty of ability as he showed when taking a Beverley handicap last season. He is steadily slipping down the weights and could easily get into a place. Course and distance winner Voice Mail should also figure in the finish but Brazilian Terrace appears to be the most progressive and gets our vote.
