In depth
Verdict
Cherry Cola has been very consistent since scoring at Yarmouth in May. She’s reunited with winning rider Rose Dawes and can reverse running over 2m1f here in June with Russian Rumour on much better terms. Big Jimbo justified favouritism over an extended 1m3f here earlier in the month and is still at the right end of the handicap. Blue Hero is very much a course specialist and is seeking a fifth victory on the campaign here but he’s never won over a trip this far. Lusaka was taking on better opposition on his hat-trick bid at Sandown but the three-year-old GREASED LIGHTNING appeals as the type who should excel over this sort of trip and he’ll handle any give in the ground.
