Verdict
These three-year-olds look much of muchness, and by sheer virtue of the stable's form we'll take a chance on Touch Of Silk popping in on her handicap debut, with Star Duster and Lighted Way the likeliest dangers. Star Duster finished second no fewer than four times yesterday, but failed to get her head in front. She seemed genuine enough however, and with the Millman yard having started the season in reasonable nick, she should be thereabouts. Andrew Balding¿s Lighted Way was disappointing on her reappearance at Nottingham but will strip fitter now and she has claims on her juvenile form. However, with Barry Hills firing in winners left, right and centre, it would be no surprise to see Touch Of Silk start the season with a win. The pick of her four races last year was when she finished second to the classy Jewel In The Sand at Sandown, and if she could reproduce that form Touch Of Silk would have little worries in winning a race like this off a mark of just 70.
