Blue Empire holds solid claims at the weights but is probably better on the all-weather than turf and preference is for Magic Amour, with The Gaikwar rated the pick of the remainder. The selection comes here in good from having won his last two starts in sellers at Leicester and Brighton, both on a faster surface, although earlier form suggests that today's conditions hold no fears for the seven-year-old, who is taken to complete a hat-trick. The Gaikwar is strictly held by the selection on running at Leicester last time but may do better over this slightly longer trip, while Chepstow winner Broughton Buzzer drops back in trip from 1m2f and may not be as well suited by today's distance. Mytton's Dream looks to be the pick of the three-year-olds although a market move for Wiltshire would be of interest with Darryll Holland booked for the ride. Magic Amour is on top of his game right now though and is taken to win again.
