Verdict
The vote here goes to Isabella Rossini ahead of Barnbrook Empire, Ophistrolie, Oh Sunny Boy and One Upmanship. The key to this race might prove to be a similar event at Chepstow on August 18th. In it, Isabella Rossini finished half-a-length ahead of Ophistrolie (who is now five pounds worse off) and nine-and-a-quarter lengths ahead of Barnbrook Empire (who is now seven pounds better off). We are going to take the view that the form can be confirmed. The selection should be thereabouts anyway. Oh Sunny Boy improved when stepped up in trip last time, and could do so again, while there is no doubt that One Upmanship holds a very good chance based on his May Chepstow effort, although he has failed to match it since. Uncle John certainly come into things based on his autumn form but, for the selection, we return to Isabella Rossini.
