Verdict

Apart from one disappointing effort on the Polytrack at Kempton last month, David Simcock's Moonbeam Dancer has shown a consistent level of form and has to be respected but more solid claims are held by TANFIDH, who gets the verdict ahead of Chincoteague. Brian Meehan's filly ran better than expected when a creditable third of 11 here over 1m4f on her only start so far and she has to be respected dropping down two furlongs in what is a weaker race. Amanda Perrett's Saint Chapelle has been well held in both starts so far and is hard to recommend, while Peter Hiatt's Fairplaytomyself has similarly given little sign of encouragement in her two outings. Marco Botti's Denices Desert would need to step up greatly on what she showed first time up and a safer option looks to be Tanfidh. Marcus Tregoning's filly showed improved form for the step up in trip at Leicester last time when chasing home Spirit Is Needed and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice.
