In depth

Verdict

It was a poor contest that PACIFIC BAY won at Beverley last time but she won easily and Richard Fahey's filly has every chance of winning again on similarly fast ground having been raised 3lbs since that success and she can score again under Lee Topliss with the main threats looking to be Florentia and Jewelled Reef. Eve Johnson Houghton's filly ran much better when a length third behind Seasonal Cross over course and distance last time and she has every chance if able to reproduce a similar level of form today. Location has struggled since winning at Wolverhampton in March and is hard to recommend, while Paul Cole's Indian Violet remains a maiden and has only been placed once from seven starts. Sir Mark Prescott's Florentia is another maiden but she has ran better in recent starts on the Polytrack and she rates the main threat to the selection, Pacific Bay.
