Verdict
A low draw is usually a significant factor in events like this as the track is slightly on the turn to the left. And it is likely that Parkside Pursuit and Indian Bazaar are handily placed to blaze a trail. Both can go well fresh but the latter has a more solid profile and may be hard to catch if he is allowed a soft lead. Texas Gold may find himself running into all kinds of trouble though, and his come from behind style leaves him open to traffic problems despite the plum stalls position. Palawan is also likely to struggle from the gates and his 6lb penalty may be enough to stop him today. Maalah may also go well at a big price but needs to better his last outing to figure. Perigeux could also play a hand in a contest that his trainer looks to have at his mercy if all his runners are fired up for the task.
