In depth

Verdict

Miss Tenacious is avoided on handicap debut unless the market speaks significantly to the contrary, whilst the veteran in the field White Ledger will appreciate the return to turf and this trip on his seasonal bow. He is not ruled out of calculations as he can act on any going. Avonlini is still a maiden and although she showed some improvement with a second at Brighton, others are more preferable. MANSII has been in consistent form this year and although he has only won once, if delivering a similar run to his third at Nottingham most recently it might be enough to emerge victorious here. Emiratesdotcom will enjoy the course as it has seen his sole success earlier in the year, but he would prefer faster conditions. Hart Of Gold can deliver results with cut in the ground but he is at the top of the weights and may find life tough.
