In depth

Verdict

EYE FOR THE GIRLS carries a penalty for winning a handicap at Hamilton last time out. Although he only scored by a neck last time, he proved he could handle cut in the ground and the runner-up in that race has subsequently won to frank the form. Mushy Peas is an unknown quantity in this domain but hasn't shown enough in maidens to merit backing on his handicap debut. Like For Like handles any going but is not in form, whilst Avoncreek prefers quicker ground and Kinigi is more of a fan of the all-weather. Norse Warrior was fifth behind the selection on his most recent outing and will need to find more to contend. The main threat is likely to be Shakespeare's Son who almost won last time but has yet to show he can act with softer ground conditions.
