Verdict

ATABAAS ALLURE should take this drop in class in her stride but she will need to be wary of Sparkling Crystal and Sun Celeb. Mark Johnston's filly has been tried in much better company than this in the past and provided that the rain arrives, her chances look to be very obvious in spite of a step down in trip. Sparkling Crystal won well at Windsor on good-to-firm going in June. She has plenty of pace though probably had it blunted under testing conditions at Salisbury. Sunceleb is potentially the most interesting from a formbook perspective as she has been cannily campaigned by Hughie Morrison. Brighton form translates readily to Bath and she did score there albeit by intervention of the stewards. Desert Kiss is on a hat-trick having obliged at Ascot and Kempton. Primo Valentino bounced back to form at Windsor having failed to trouble the judge in a couple of cavalry charges. You've Been Mowed has struggled at this course in the past and while improving during the season, she will need a career best to oblige in this company. Perfect Class is still a maiden on turf while Evening Sunset has took a big hike in the ratings for winning a moderate Hamilton event. Atabaas Allure gets a confident recommendation under the circumstances.
