Knight Eagle finished behind Fammi Sognare at Gowran last time and has a bit to prove now. BOXER BEAT and Luck Pennie were both beaten favourites last time but the former has much more scope and is fancied to get off the mark in this. Mejd has improved of late, however, and was fourth in a handicap last month and there is probably more to come from Ballinrobe fifth High Importance over hurdles. Canadian Diamond won a Sligo bumper in May before finding a penalty too much to overcome on a return visit there shortly after. He's a full brother to hurdles winner Tri Nations, however, so improvement is expected now he tackles obstacles.
