    Verdict

PERSIA, a dual winner on the Flat for Aidan O'Brien, landed a Punchestown maiden hurdle in May but a couple of mistakes put paid to his chances when eight lengths behind the odds-on Statuaire at Wexford. He should defy a penalty against this moderate opposition. Capel At Dawn didn't run badly on her handicap debut at Clonmel and looks next best unless Ripon winner Dangeroffizz can show something on his debut over timber.
