Verdict

Lincoln rarely runs over the minimum these days and his Sligo victory came in a 6f claimer. Plough Boy has managed to win 13 races including over this track and trip. He's only 3lb higher than his victory at Naas in May and can never be discounted. African Friend has moved from Yorkshire on a potentially fair mark and his new trainer will get the best out of him but it's about time TRUE BLUE MOON (NAP) was winning again. Joseph O'Brien's charge won a two-year-old Listed contest at Naas and has been racing at a much higher level than this including a fair run in a premier handicap at the Curragh a week ago. Stanhope is gradually dropping in the ratings but is still higher than his last winning mark.
