Verdict

Muthafar had shown potential in the UK before joining Gordon Elliott but he's disappointed so far. SHEMSHAL was in excellent form on fast ground over hurdles before finding 1m2f much too short at Down Royal. This is more like his trip and he can gain his first victory on the Flat. Unrequited faces quick ground for the first time but has shown enough to be given a chance along with Zaiman, who is tackling this more suitable trip for the first time. Lady Clitico has been running reasonably well on going with some give and, if taking to this surface, would have to be considered for a place at least. David Wachman's newcomer Mr Rock, a son of Galileo, is related to a host of winners and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a successful start.
