Verdict

DUNROE BOY held an engagement here yesterday but, after his facile victory at Ballinrobe last month, would have an obvious chance here if allowed to take his place. Top Four needs one to come out to get a run and if doing so has to enter the equation after two very good runs over fences in recent weeks. Plato ran his best race to date behind Wooly Tom at Gowran and the winner was due to run here yesterday so his performance should be noted. Turnonthegas is racing from his highest mark and is 10lb higher than his latest victory but Baby's Hot showed signs of a return to form at Kilbeggan last month and can get involved with her low weight.
