In depth

Verdict

POZYC scored on the Flat at the Galway Festival and not surprisingly was a warm order when reverting to hurdles at Tramore on Sunday. However, he stumbled badly at the second last when still in touch and gets a quick opportunity to gain compensation. The progressive Golden Ticket makes his handicap debut after victories in a Punchestown bumper and a maiden hurdle at Gowran. He could be a blot on the handicap though is facing a much stiffer task against experienced opposition. Otay Kawn dead-heated for a chase at Kilbeggan before coming to grief there in a handicap. Willie Mullins sends him on a confidence booster back over timber and he's probably not badly treated. Original Option gained a very easy victory over the C&D last month but couldn't cope with a big weight rise at Killarney and is on the same mark here.
