Verdict
Heliers Bay could probably do with being dropped a few more pounds and Batalha is more interesting on his handicap debut after just four starts over timber, in which he has shown ability the last twice. He's expected to progress further but fellow four-year-old, VISCHIO, may have his measure. The latter had some fair Flat form for Jonathan Portman before joining the Donohue yard and quickly had his attentions turned to handicaps. He looks like developing into a consistent type at this level and the 5lb Deegan claim will also help. Trenchtown Rock is finding winning hard nowadays but still has a sound each-way shout off his falling mark.
