Verdict

PILLAR won this in 2018 and My Good Brother scored a year ago. The former looked on the way back to form when only beaten a length at the Curragh and is 9lb better off for a two- length beating by A Step Too Far at Naas last month. He also has the beating of Sunday's Naas winner It's All A Joke on that earlier running at the Curragh and can return to winning ways. Misterio has more scope than most of these having had just six runs though she keeps going up in the weights without winning. Polly Douglas is certainly capable of winning a race such as this and she's gradually improved since returning from a break.
