In depth

Verdict

POLAR BEAR's experience can count in what looks a moderate maiden. Jessica Harrington's colt has come up against some very speedy opposition and didn't quite get home over 6f at Fairyhouse last time though was only just over a length behind Apache Outlaw, who was placed in the Group 2 Railway Stakes at the Curragh last week. Charming Lady was only a couple of lengths behind in that Fairyhouse contest when making her debut so has every chance of reversing the form. Hilltop Gold missed the break completely at Down Royal but ran on nicely and is expected to do much better.
