Verdict

Roman Strait is the only one of these with a win to his name. He scored on the Polytrack at Lingfield in December but is 9lb higher in the weights on his return to the turf. Coax was outpaced on the Fibresand last time and, given his winning relatives came into their own over middle-distances, he may need further to show his best. ABIDHABIDUBAI returned from a lengthy lay-off with a promising second over today's trip at Catterick. Doing all his best work in the closing stages, the stiff finish here should suit and he's taken to go one better. Rational Act and Twennyshortkid could prove best of the remainder.
