Michael Dods’ charge should be capable of further progress this year. Beverley Bullet was runner-up here on his comeback though never threatened the winner but Stars N Angels was closing on Poet’s Beauty when second at Leicester recently. Seaperle steps back up in distance after finding one too good over 6f at Thirsk but this is tougher than the low-grade classified race won by Free To Roam at Brighton last month. Perceysvivace goes handicapping for the first time on her return to action and is another to consider.
