Mick Channon's Galtymore Lad is surely better than he showed on his debut at Windsor last month and he has to be considered but looks best watched following that first effort and it may be worth siding with Mark Johnston's MUSIC NEWS, who is taken to be a rare first time up two-year-old winner for the yard with Last Destination rated the main danger. The selection is bred to be useful being a son of Forestry and he may be worth chancing in a race that should not take a great deal of winning. Mick Easterby saddles no fewer than three runners with Belle Mere looking the pick of the trio, who all make their first appearance on a racecourse, but she has been done few favours with a draw in stall three of the 13 runners. Paul Midgley's Blind Stag ran well enough first time up at Ripon and makes more appeal than Nigel Tinkler's Bon Appetit, who showed some promise on her debut but is another with a poor draw. Last Destination has the pick of the draw in stall 13 but Ollie Pears is not known for his great success with juveniles and preference is for Music News, who can make a winning debut for Mark Johnston.
