Verdict

MIDNIGHT FANTASY is narrowly preferred here to Mythical Blue and Westwood. Rae Guest's Oasis Dream filly makes her seasonal return today and she was in good form when seen at Newcastle in October. She still looks feasibly treated on a mark of 75 and with the ground to suit she should run well. Mythical Blue was a tad outclassed in a better race than this at York last year but should find this grade easier, Kingswinford's second to Sir George at Catterick reads well in the context of this race and he's a course and distance winner, whilst Hustle is starting to look attractively handicapped. Forgive Cape Melody her Brighton blip when last seen, whilst Westwood hits the shortlist after a close second to King's Caprice at Folkestone. Step It Up, Ejeed and Lethal are all in good nick, whilst course and distance winner Hip Hip Hooray is not to be ignored dropping in trip. An open start, with preference for Midnight Fantasy.
