        Verdict

        On The Brink represents a yard with a fine record in this event (two winners from last four renewals) and comes here in winning form having landed a minor event at Thirsk last month in comfortable fashion. Ivania is progressing along the right lines and should not be dismissed in this better company having landed a Chester maiden while New Foundation showed a return to form at Windsor over 6f but is not short of speed so won't be unduly inconvenienced by the drop in trip. Outeast is another to consider after her last time out victory at Thirsk with the form working out well.
