Verdict

BADA BING showed improved form on her first start for Scott Dixon and seasonal debut when just failing to catch Lady Advocate over C&D last month. She's been raised 5lb for that but still makes most appeal in an uninspiring handicap. Scarlet Prince also went close on his reappearance when runner-up in a seller at Redcar and he makes more appeal than recent Newcastle second Dance For Georgie. A second glance at the betting could also pay dividends as a handful of these make their handicap debuts with the likes of Alpha Arion, Gibraltar Road and Pontoon all probably capable of better than they've shown so far.
